Victor Gong
Victor is an undergraduate student at Georgia Institute of Technology with a passion for computer science, electrical engineering, and journalism. He started out building classic arcade-style games in Python, and as his fascination for programming and engineering grow, soon expanded to more complicated projects including data pipelines, chess AI, neural networks, game development, and robotics. I'm currently exploring social algorithms, financial tech, web development, decision models, and AI / ML.

Besides personal projects, he's also an avid competitive programmer. He won 1st place and a Gold Medal at the American Computer Science League (ACSL) Finals competition two times in 2021 and 2023. He also currently competes in the USA Computing Olympiad (USACO) Platinum Division and passed the Gold division with a full score. In his free time, he enjoys writing about fascinating scientific topics, playing pool, developing games, 3D modeling in Blender, cooking, and playing the piano and saxophone.
